If, as for me, you are totally into creative and unusual places, you will love this place...for sure!

First of all, this hostel is in the central London, which means close to Piccadilly Circus station. The good point is that you don't have to pay the bus to visit places or do shopping in Oxford Street.

If you like to test unusual places or simply frighten your mum by telling her that you slept in a prison cell and you enjoyed it...Yes, you will like this place!

Personally, the first time, I went into this hostel to meet one of my friends who made a reservation there, I was so impressed by the reception: it's a huge room with some stained-glass windows on the ceiling, whaouu!

Apparently, this hostel was a Victorian courthouse in the past and now it has been modernised in a very stylish way. The originality of this hostel is that you can still sleep in one of the seven prison cells. Personally I couldn't, but I guess that some people like that because even though it costs £50/night – but - ok, ok, I am still a girl, and it’s maybe only me. Nevertheless, I reassure you, it wasn’t like the ‘death passage’ where the atmosphere could still be so horrible that you couldn’t close your eyes for the whole night as you were so terrified! No, it was the place where the condemned used to stay before being brought before the judge, but it can still be attractive!Especially two other parts of this hostel: the TV lounge and the internet room with the two courtrooms. During the transformation of the building, they tried to keep them as authentic as possible, the results are well-done, which means that you can surf the web on the judge's chair or chat with your friends from the usher's desk...which is just awesome!
